About Eastern Slope Technologies
Eastern Slope Technologies is a division of Eastern Slope Rural Telephone Association (ESRTA), a cooperative based in Eastern Colorado that provides reliable high-speed internet services at great prices, with unbeatable customer service and tech support. We offer fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and high-speed DSL broadband internet.
As an association and a Cooperative, our by-laws are designed to ensure we provide the most dependable area-wide communications services for voice and broadband at the lowest cost consistent with a sound economy and good management. With Eastern Slope Technologies service you are not just a customer, you become a member and owner. Unlike corporations, our profits go back toward network improvement, service quality, and directly to our members in the form of capital credits on services. Our staff of skilled technicians and friendly customer support representatives are both knowledgeable and genuinely care about assisting our members. In addition to the high-speed internet and crystal-clear voice services you receive, as members of the Eastern Slope cooperative, you also earn capital credits that can be accrued and used on any service you subscribe to.
What is a Co-op and What are Capital Credits?
If you are new to a Co-op, the simplest explanation is a co-op is it is owned by its members, when you sign up for internet or phone services through Eastern Slope Technologies, you are not a customer, you are a member.
As a non-profit, Eastern Slope Rural Telephone allocates its annual operating margins to the members in the form of capital credits, this does not mean that you have overpaid, and we are refunding you. When the financial condition of the Cooperative permits and upon approval of the Board of Directors, a portion of these credits is allocated to eligible members in the form of a check. Active members have the option to apply these capital credits toward the balance of any current Eastern Slope Technologies bill.
