CO-OP INFORMATION

ESTech - A Division of ESRTA

ESTech (Eastern Slope Technologies) is a division of ESRTA (Eastern Slope Rural Telephone Association) which operates as part of the Eastern Slope Telephone Cooperative. Our Bylaws state:

 

It shall be the aim of EASTERN SLOPE RURAL TELEPHONE ASSOCIATION, INC. to provide dependable area-wide telephone service on the cooperative plan and at the lowest cost consistent with sound economy and good management.

We are proud to continue to advance that mission, as well as offer our Eastern Colorado neighbors the latest technologies to increase usability, access, and connectivity throughout the region.

Our Board encompasses an experienced group of individuals representing our diverse regional footprint. Our current board members are:

7 Principles of a Cooperative

  • Open and Voluntary Membership
    Anyone can join a co-op - we do not discriminate based on gender, social, racial, political, or religious factors.
  • Democratic Member Control
    Members control their business by deciding how it is run and who leads it.
  • Members' Economic Participation
    All co-op members invest in their cooperative. This means people, not shareholders, benefit from a co-op's profits.
  • Autonomy and Independence
    When making business deals or raising money, co-ops never compromise their autonomy or democratic member control.
  • Education, Training, and Information
    Education and training opportunities for members, employees, and greater community.
  • Cooperation Among Cooperatives
    Co-ops believe working together is the best strategy to empower their members and build a stronger co-op economy.
  • Concern for Community
    Co-ops are community minded. They contribute to the sustainable development of their communities by sourcing and investing locally.
